Privacy Policy

EZ Bill India (operated by Adyant Enterprise, hereinafter "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of merchants, staff and customers who use our cloud POS and billing software ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: name, business name, email, phone number, GSTIN (optional), and password (stored as a salted hash).
• Business data: products, prices, inventory, customers, suppliers, invoices, sales, purchases and any content you create inside the app.
• Payment data: when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment partner. We store the plan, status and last 4 digits of the instrument only — never full card numbers.
• Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and crash logs to keep the Service stable and secure.
• Cookies: essential cookies for login sessions, and optional analytics cookies you can disable in your browser.

2. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the Service (billing, inventory, reports, KOT, UPI etc.).
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To send transactional emails — invoices, OTPs, password resets, plan reminders.
• To improve features, fix bugs and develop new products.
• To comply with applicable Indian laws including the GST Act and IT Act.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Cloud hosting and database providers that run the Service.
• Payment processors for subscription billing.
• Email/SMS providers to deliver transactional messages.
• Government or law-enforcement authorities when legally required.

4. Data retention

Your business data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we keep the data for 90 days so you can re-activate, after which it is permanently deleted from our active systems. Backups are rotated within 30 additional days.

5. Your rights

• Access, correct or download your data from inside the app.
• Request deletion of your account by emailing us.
• Opt out of non-essential marketing emails at any time.

6. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and routine security audits. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong password and enable any available security options.

7. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app banner.
